History: Nicholas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Nicholas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Elf Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
