Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Soapmaker who has hired him part-time. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Bernard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Soapmaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Soapmaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Soapmaker responsibilities is difficult.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is wearing a long, tan, dusty cloak. His white hair is singed and shortened. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Gerard has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. This gray eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Revenge; and to unite with his sister

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing white cape and mantle trimmed with soft black waves gently in the breeze. His brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Vassago is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. The war was a terrible time for him, and Vassago does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
