History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Spear was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: The child of a Cook, who enjoyed hunting, Modean was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions
