Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Torz was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Bookbinder. He sports a flattop hair cut. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Ur-Edin liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Ur-Edin was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Zepar and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Zepar discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Zepar fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. After coming to the age of reason, Vondal took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Boddynock was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and he is unsatisfied with his job
