Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is light but he possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are violet and beady.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His red hair is knotted and matted. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: He wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a sword, but if one is not available he will default to his flail. He wears a colorful flower in his red fur. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tree was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Description: He is dressed in earthy colors with a violet and red handkerchief worn on his right side. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Quarion embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Quarion was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is his passion

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. His gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cartwright born in the past three hundred years. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a interpreter again
