History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Arannis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Theren was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and expand his business
