History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

History: Charles was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Gimble alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
