History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Vondal was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Vondal's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vondal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hork grew up listening to his father's many stories. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
