History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Berrian was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He has a brown handlebar mustache and slicked back brown hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Gardain's homeland. Gardain decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
