History: Jocelyn was born the youngest of three triplets. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Bathin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. After a long history of fighting, Bathin and his spouse have recently divorced.
