Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born in the north. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When Varis reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Nutae was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nutae fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
