History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
