History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Patrick was born with his mother's beautiful face. When Patrick reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a morningstar on his belt. He has dyed his greying gray fur a little too much giving a sharp gray color. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Serpent wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town.
