He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Assassin. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Marbas is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town.
