History: Kaladan hails from a village terrorized by drow. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: This dark-skinned male wears a simple white robe with pastel stripes complete with hood. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His golden hair is lengthy. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ulblyn is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Ulblyn was born with his father's beautiful face. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a simple blue robe with black stripes complete with hood. His silver hair is still thick. His violet eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Thorin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Thorin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Being a Cook kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
