History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a rival would like him out of the picture

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Personality: Umpen wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Wizard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
