Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Thervan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Marbas was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
