History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Hoglik was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hoglik's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Tree was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
