History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
