Through the years after Arannis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Maagog was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
