History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Laucian reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Cartwright profession.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He found a children's book about a Halfling Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has worked as a Weaver like his father before him.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. Nutae is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He uses divination through singing.

History: Heward lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
