History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born in the west to a Gardener, Caeldrim learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Gardener for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Gardener responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Junk Dealer for the past few years.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has achieved small success as a Navigator.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
