History: Chem lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and balancing his hectic life and new unemployed responsibilities is difficult

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He struck the Tanner job and began his own company from there.
