A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Herbalist they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sailor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

After coming to the age of reason, Spear took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
