History: Rurik was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: He very much looks the part of a Shepherd, and he perpetually has his rapier ready. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has brown eyes.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Elaim is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's also a talented Doctor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
