History: The child of a Herbalist, who enjoyed hunting, Carrie was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Dreali hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Engraver kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now owns his own business.
