History: Paymon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Performer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Pog enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the west to a Dyer, Pog learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in sickle use. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bowyer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Rimmon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Bowyer. Recently the stress of being a Bowyer has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: He is content; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
