History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Ploughman arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Travok hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in the south to a Guard, Travok learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Guard like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sculptor for hire.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gormogord embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
