Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Alvyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.

Description: This northern man is dressed in a clean black cloak covering his clean studded leather. His clothes are grease stained in places. His brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Ghaliver was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Faran took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up falchion and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
