History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Lone was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. The war was a terrible time for him, and Chem does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Gifted from a young age, Dagger studied abroad. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Seamstress arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and wishes to resurrect an old love
