Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Alston was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Alston's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against illithids

Description: A middle-aged man, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and is pretty ugly. His beige fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Tabaxi in existence. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Serpent has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a Server, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Fisher soon after.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and revenge

History: Cloak hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Cloak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it
