History: He was born in a small mountains village. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He tends to wear a large tan jacket, and carries ceremonial daggers. His silver hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gold eyes.

Personality: Balam speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Balam was born the youngest of three triplets. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His hair is brown and curly. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mindartis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and to prove his worth to the world

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
