History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Soapmaker. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
