Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
