History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His first spouse was a Server, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sage, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a sage and was forced into it by his family

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He bought a lance and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture
