History: He was born in the east. Alston was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Guard. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Description: He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light black in addition to tight pants. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is chestnut and curly. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Sailor who has hired him part-time. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bookbinder. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. With bright blonde hair and a scraggly beard. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a strong sense of loyalty to half-elven people

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has achieved small success as a Guard.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and sabotage a competitor
