History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Brewer responsibilities is difficult.

Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Zephan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
