Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He carries a battered spear and tarnished rapier as well. He keeps his silver hair in a flapper bob. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Jeweler. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Jeweler for the past few years.

Description: This tall, slender man wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His hair is red and curly. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Barber arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length white hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His hair is black and curly. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Knight. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A freak accident while working with his Adventurer father left him crippled. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and expand his business

Description: He wears long strands of aquamarine and short brown dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He has a very tight haircut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ortegar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
