History: Born in the east to a Mortician, Braak learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Mortician and found it very stressful. Personality: Gale wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Wizard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gale was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
