He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sailor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Anselm embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Anselm is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Anselm lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears a white top hat and white clothes, marred by beers. His blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born in the north. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Description: He wears a white cloak and cross-gartered black stockings. He carries with him a set of halberds, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Frouse hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frouse fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This man wears a fancy black suit. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His long silver crest is drawn into a two foot long braid. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Beggar father left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
