History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bricklayer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by his family; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the west

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Felgrat grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barkeep for hire.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult; and to reunite with his absent father
