He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: An older man who wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, he is not a threatening figure. His white crest is greasy and uncared for. This red eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Sethrekar isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dragonborn unity. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and retire the richest man in the east

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Therai lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His childhood dream was to be a Shepherd, but he was a colossal failure. He now mingles about in high society.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
