History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. During his travels, Baern and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Baern discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Baern fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Lucan was born with his mother's beautiful face. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
