He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. After a long history of fighting, Faran and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to work out more often

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Nim was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Nim was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and many brigands want him driven away
