History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Krimmon was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Krimmon decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
