Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Sammal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He's also a talented Spice Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Bundrigo was born the youngest of three triplets. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Bundrigo has worked very hard to control his curse. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He takes great joy in being the best Sage in town.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is fixated on the number 2. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Conrad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Conrad was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Shipwright. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He struck the Detective job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To be a Slave Trader again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
