History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Oren liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Fargas embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Fargas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a interpreter and was forced into it by his family

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gardain never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Whurbin hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and revenge

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears professional attire. He keeps his blonde hair in a flapper bob. His eyes are hazel.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He found a children's book about a Halfling Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has worked as a Butcher like his father before him.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and to be a performer again
