Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Damien was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He bought a bastard sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Lucan is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
