History: Arannis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Arannis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Arannis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Roland was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.
