History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oblar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oblar. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Gifted from a young age, Fargas studied abroad. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fletcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Now he works as a poetry tutor during his time off.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Rolen is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. In his youth he was a Barrister, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
